Remake of a piece I created in 2010. It was originally a spontaneous thing I threw together with zero planning for a journal header. Comically, I apparently worked on it for "yesterday and today" and farted out one of the best pieces I've ever done to this day. Wish I could figure out wtf magic I inhaled prior, haha. Anyway, now that the piece is a decade old, I thought it could be interesting to see what it'd look like if I drew it today.

I don't want to get into hyper-rendering my paintings like I used to, and really went for something of a combination in style between my current cel style and previous painting style. Not 100% sure I could replicate this but I like how it turned out and it also didn't take a million years - less than 40 hours. That sounds like a lot but it's a move in the right direction for me, haha.
