Backstory: Like Alex, Magellan grew up on a space station, though he did not have as rough of an upbringing. However, as a young adult, he bounced around from job to job, frequently being fired for his incompetence and never really finding his place. He had always loved the idea of exploring unknown space and colonizing worlds, so one day, he decided to try and join the crew of a starship. He bumped into Wolfboi at port one day, and convinced him that he was a skilled hacker, whereupon he was hired, despite that being a complete lie. After joining Alex’s crew, she became a strong leader for him, and he looks up to her as a pack leader. Magellan will eventually sire Alex’s children, though their relationship is more like that of a mentor/mentee. Because of the divide in gene pools, it is not uncommon for people to have kids with someone outside of their relationships. An incompatible couple will seek out a surrogate father when they want to have kids, and Magellan was honored to play this role for Alex (and also somewhat saddened that he isn’t Alex’s SO, though still respectful of her decision).

Characteristics: Loveable, but a complete derp. Often shows lack of judgement, thought, or ability, but always means well, and is always happy and optimistic. Because of his derpiness, he needs a strong leader to help guide him.

Additional Details: Goes by “Mag” for short, or sometimes “Maggie” by someone close who wants to tease him.
